Hard Reboot was created with the vision of bringing makers together under the theme of sustainable development. This came from a desire to highlight the role makers and makerspaces play in achieving many of the Sustainable Development Goals as defined by the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

From refugee camps to modern metropolises, citizens are becoming empowered by low cost and quickly evolving technologies that enable them to solve big challenges. Making and the innovation approach is a global reality impacting sustainability and economic development in local communities.
